Bob Lentz has 20 years of programming experience with more than 18 years focused on developing business software applications. Prior to joining Vocus, Lentz was president of Dataway Corporation, a company specializing in the design and implementation of mission-critical PC-based software and networks. In that role, Lentz led the development effort on dozens of complex software projects for clients such as KPMG, U.S. Navy and many other commercial clients.

The success of the Vocus applications, developed under Lentz's leadership has resulted in being named twice to the Inc. 500 list as one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States, selected a winner of the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 awards, named by Software Magazine to the Software 500, named a top 100 ASP (Application Service Provider) by IRG, and received honorable mention for the prestigious "Innovation of the Year" award from PR Week.
