 Rick Rudman is a 20-year software veteran and has been the driving force behind Vocus’ growth and innovation. Prior to Vocus, Rudman was a senior executive at Dataway Corporation, a company specializing in the development of mission-critical software systems for clients such as KPMG, Booz-Allen and U.S. Navy. Prior to Vocus, Rudman worked as an accountant and also served in the U.S. Air Force.
In 2003, Rudman was the Greater Washington Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the software category, and in 1999, Rudman was selected as the High Technology Council of Maryland's "Entrepreneur of the Year." Rudman received a bachelor's of science in accounting from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant.
