inVocus: Tracking and chronicling major media changes

Welcome to inVocus – our chronicle of major changes and trends in North American media.  The rulebook of how the media operates, if one ever did exist, is gone. Print outlets are disappearing, profitable Web publishing remains unclear and the roles of the journalists left behind constantly change. Our Media Research Team makes thousands of daily updates to the Vocus Database. inVocus highlights the most important changes and interprets trends to help you understand the tidal wave that is transforming the media. Produced by experts with decades of experience creating content for print, broadcast and Web environments, inVocus is an excellent resource if following the media is important to your professional life.

Our content includes:

Daily Media Moves- Snapshots of important and interesting comings and goings of journalists, editors and bloggers.

In Their Own Words- Recorded interviews with journalists highlighting how they wish to be approached and pitched by public relations professionals.

Seize the Day - Focusing on one event and how a campaign can be built around it to advance a client’s cause. Published weekly 30 days in advance of each event.

The Media Blog- News, views and reports of emerging developments to help guide you through the ever-evolving media environment.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.
