Christine Hurley Deriso – GHSU Today

Christine Hurley Deriso has served as editor of GHSU Today since 1988. In this role, she guides coverage of medical news and items related to the Medical College of Georgia. She began her journalism career as a newspaper reporter for the Augusta Chronicle, and served as the paper’s restaurant critic from 1998 to 2005. Her work has also appeared in Ladies’ Home Journal, Parents, Family Circle and Child magazines. She is the author of the inspirational children’s book “Dreams to Grow On,” as well as several other young adult titles and a self-help book.

Hurley Deriso graduated from the University of Georgia College of Journalism in 1983.
