Frank Pine is the managing editor of digital news for the Los Angeles Newspaper Group. This includes the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, San Bernardino Sun, Los Angeles Daily News, Daily Breeze, Press-Telegram, San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Whittier Daily News, Pasadena Star-News and the Redlands Daily Facts. In this role, he is responsible for daily news gathering and reporting across platforms with a focus on digital. Pine previously has held several editorial and reporting positions at the Bulletin, including copy editor and assistant city editor. He has also worked as executive editor of the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, the Pasadena Star-News and the Whittier Daily News.
Pine has a bachelor’s degree in English from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
