Ismail Turay is the digital content editor for the Dayton Daily News. He oversees all of the digital news content on the paper’s website. Most recently, Turay served in Afghanistan with the Ohio Army National Guard. Previously, he was the city editor for the Springfield News-Sun and a regional reporter for the Dayton Daily News. He also has covered police and general assignment news for the News-Sun.
Turay has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Illinois.
