Dan Rosenheim serves as the vice president and news director for KPIX in San Francisco. Rosenheim was previously a news director at San Francisco’s KRON-TV from 1996 to 2000. He joined KRON in 1996 from the San Francisco Chronicle, where served as a managing editor from December 1993. Prior to that, he was the Chronicle’s city editor from 1987 to 1993, after serving as an economics editor from 1985 to 1987. Rosenheim also worked for the Chicago Tribune from 1984 to 1985 as a financial writer. He joined the Tribune from the Chicago Sun-Times, where he was a special economics writer and a financial writer from 1981 to 1984. Before that, he was a business and labor editor at the Hammond (Indiana) Times from 1978 to 1981, and a general assignment reporter at the Lansing (Illinois) Sun Journal from 1977 to 1978.
Rosenheim graduated from Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree. He received degrees in French literature and political science from the Université Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris.
