Eliott Rodriguez – WFOR-TV

Eliott Rodriguez is an anchor for WFOR in Doral, Fla., and can be seen on the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts. Rodriguez started his career in journalism as a reporter at the Miami News. He broke into television as a reporter at WTVJ-TV in Miramar, Fla. He then moved to Philadelphia-based WPVI-TV where he was a reporter and morning anchor. From there, Rodriguez  joined WPLG-TV in Pembroke Park, Fla., as an anchor, reporter and host of “Eye on Crime.” He has earned two Emmys, a Philadelphia Press Association Award, an Associated Press Award, the Newsweek en Espanol Man of the Year Award and the highest honor from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Rodriguez is a graduate of the University of Miami and Miami-Dade Community College.
