Khambrel Marshall serves as a meteorologist and host for KPRC in Houston. He was previously an executive producer for KPRC. He joined the station in May 1999, bringing years of experience with the Miami television industry to his current position. His first job in television was as a weekend sports anchor in Phoenix. Marshall won an Emmy for a feature series on the U.S. Coast Guard rescue efforts. He was also named Outstanding Young Floridian by the Fort Lauderdale Jaycees, and has been the recipient of the National Community Service Award from the Westinghouse Corporation. Marshall serves as board chairman for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Houston and is an executive committee board member for the March of Dimes, Texas Gulf Coast Region.
Marshall attended Arizona State University and studied broadcasting.
