Eastern Arizona Courier names new managing editor

David Bell has joined the Eastern Arizona Courier as managing editor, replacing Aimee Staten. Prior to joining the Courier on Jan. 7, Bell served as the sports editor for Today’s News-Herald in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., for eight years. While there, he reported on city, county and state news and wrote for the features, business and special sections. Bell was also a news director for Murphy Broadcasting’s radio stations in Arizona, California and Nevada.
Eastern Arizona Courier has a twice weekly circulation of approximately 6,700, and serves the Eastern Arizona area.
