Tim Ethridge has been named editor of the Evansville Courier & Press. Ethridge will assume his new duties on Monday. He replaces Mizell Stewart III, who left in January. Ethridge has served as sports editor at the paper since 2000. Prior to that, he was a copy editor and oversaw high school sports coverage at the Indianapolis News and Star, now the Indianapolis Star. Ethridge was also sports editor of the Evansville Press and assistant sports editor at the Evansville Courier, before the two Indiana papers eventually merged.
The Evansville Courier & Press has a daily circulation of approximately 51,300. It serves the Evansville, Ind. area.
