Louisiana’s Daily News names editor

Sandy Seal Cunningham has been named publisher and editor of the Daily News in Bogalusa, La. Cunningham, replacing Richard Meek, who now serves as a contributing writer. She most recently served as publisher at the Daily News’ sister publication, L’Observateur in La Place, La. Cunningham has worked in several editorial positions for the Denham Springs-Livingston Parish News, the Daily Star, the News Banner and the now-defunct newspapers, Slidell Sentry-News and St. Tammany News.
The Daily News has a daily circulation of approximately 5,100 and serves the Washington Parish and northern Saint Tammany Parish, La., area.
