Rio Grande Valley Newspapers names new editor

Rio Grande Valley Newspapers has named Ryan Henry as editor of the Brownsville Herald, replacing Marcia Caltabiano-Ponce, who now serves as editor of the Valley Morning Star. Most recently, Henry served as the managing editor of The Herald and its sister paper, the Valley Morning Star. He also served as the editor of South Texas Outdoors, a quarterly magazine. Henry has worked on the editorial staff of The Monitor and the Coastal Current, also owned by Rio Grande Valley Newspapers.
The Brownsville Herald has a daily circulation of approximately 10,300 and serves the Cameron County area in Texas.
