Beginner - Getting Started with Vocus PR |
Did you know Vocus will help you to track and manage all of your PR activities? During this hands-on session, the Vocus team will review the basic features and functionality of your Vocus PR product. We'll walk through the steps to build a sure-fire media list, and then use the Communications Wizard to share news and key messages with these audiences. We'll review the activities and correspondence tabs, the nerve center of the product--and your progress. And finally we'll catalogue and analyze your news coverage, to ensure you're merchandising the clips you are generating. This course geared towards beginning Vocus PR users and those hoping to develop a deeper knowledge of the product. |

In this hands-on session, we'll introduce you to analytics, the key application for benchmarking your programs. We'll review the aspects of analytics that will enable you to effectively evaluate message adoption; identify publicity and brand-building opportunities; track your momentum and that of your competitors; and identify competitive threats. |

In this session, we'll review the use of Vocus for managing and assigning your campaigns and projects, by identifying activities, news and collateral linked to specific projects and campaigns, or by creating project tasks to assign to your staff. We'll also review opportunities tracking, as well the evaluation of these efforts through Analytics. |

We'll also review Vocus Prominence & Scoring- from prominence to competitive mentions, Vocus experts will show you how you can use the Vocus solution to evaluate the effectiveness of your news coverage. |

This session will demonstrate all the automated features of the system and how you can best leverage those features for a one user environment. We'll also review best practices for minimizing user interaction with the system. |
