Hands-On, In-Depth Instruction

Arrive in D.C. a day early and take advantage of the dozens of basic and advanced training sessions offered to help you get the most out of your Vocus investment. Whether you are focused on PR, GR or PAC, there are courses designed specifically for your needs.

The optional Vocus training sessions will run all day on Wednesday, June 3rd, prior to the official conference kickoff. There is an additional fee of $545.00 to attend, which includes hands-on training from Vocus experts, all materials, breakfast and breaks.

Classes fill up quickly so register early to reserve your seat!

In order to ensure a quality learning experience, registration for pre-conference training is open only to full conference registrants. Questions regarding training may be emailed to conference_training@vocus.com.

This all-day class is geared toward clients who are relatively new to Vocus. Learn basic functionality and navigation of Vocus with an emphasis on searching for media contacts and outlets, news distribution and tracking media interactions.

Media List Enhancement (Intermediate Class)

Learn ways to expand your current media lists and best practices for targeting key media contacts including searching through contacts, managing your lists and building a list using the coverage wizard.

Vocus Reports at Your Fingertips (Advanced Class)

Your Vocus system is complete with several different reporting options. Take this hands-on class to learn how to create custom reports, generate news reports, export data and more.

Creating & Distributing Communications through Vocus & PRWeb (Intermediate Class)

This class will cover the best practices for distributing your news through Vocus and PRWeb. You’ll learn how to create a distribution, use and manage email statistics and send and analyze results through PRWeb.

(Intermediate Class)

News management goes beyond total clip counts. This hands-on class will teach you the fundamentals of how to manage your news including categorization, management tools and reporting.

Move beyond the basics of searching and organizing your news coverage. This class will help you refine your news searches to enable you to monitor industry trends and analysis.

PR Management and Tracking… When List Building Isn’t Enough (Intermediate/Advanced Class)

This class will demonstrate how to manage PR projects in Vocus. The hands-on training covers ongoing PR and media initiatives, including tracking from the planning stages through to reporting.

Be sure to bring your hardest PAC management questions and get answers during the Q&A portion of the class.
