Edward J. Correia is the managing editor for the CRN, where he guides its coverage of computer products, business and technology trends in the computer industry. Prior to joining the staff at Everything Channel in 2010, Correia was the editor of Software Test & Performance (now Software Test & Quality Assurance). He also served as a chairman for STPCon, a software testing conference. Throughout the 1990s, he worked for CMP Media, first as a business analyst in the IT department and then as the technical editor of CRN Labs. He also worked for nine years at BZ Media as the executive editor of SD Times.
Correia earned his bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, where he studied business computers and information systems and minored in broadcasting and telecommunications. He also earned an associate’s degree in broadcast telecommunications from Suffolk County Community College.
