Tamara Dietrich – The Daily Press

Tamara Dietrich is a science and environment writer for the Daily Press. She covers science and environmental news for the Hampton Roads region, which includes NASA Langley Research Center, Jefferson Lab, the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Dietrich has written about restoration efforts of the Chesapeake Bay, research physics, space technology and exploration and marine sciences. Most recently, Dietrich was a family interest and parenthood columnist for the Daily Press. Prior to that, she served as a metro columnist for the East Valley Tribune in Mesa, Ariz. She is the recipient of several awards for her writing.

Dietrich holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of New Mexico.
